Introduction to BS7846 Standard BS7846 標準介紹
British Standard BS7846 specifies requirements for thermosetting insulated armoured fire-resistant cables with a voltage rating of 600/1000V and low emission of smoke and corrosive gases when affected by fire. BS7846 SWA cables are suitable for: open air installation, cable trays and baskets, surface clips, underground ducting in well-draining soils, embedded in concrete, and direct burial. The robust steel wire armour provides mechanical protection making these cables ideal for installations where risk of mechanical damage is a concern. Minimum recommended installation temperature: 0°C. Installation should comply with BS7671/IEE Wiring Regulations.
