The International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15, commonly known as ISPM 15, represents a globally recognized framework established by the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) under the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to regulate wooden packaging materials used in international trade. This standard was developed to prevent the international spread of plant pests and diseases that could negatively affect ecosystems, agriculture, and forestry industries worldwide.
