Can I Use Type 275 (EPR/CSP) to Replace Olex Instalex (XLPE/PVC) for Fixed HV Transmission?
This is a question that arises frequently on Australian and New Zealand mining and industrial project sites: a contractor has Olex Instalex XLPE/PVC cable specified for a fixed high-voltage (HV) power transmission run, but Type 275 EPR/CSP cable is readily available in stock or already on-site for mining equipment. Can one be substituted for the other?
